A busy weekend for Adaire as our
Film piece ‘Cut To The Chase’ is being shown throughout the bank holiday weekend as part of the Derbyshire Open Arts festival.
We went to the preview evening on Friday and the film was well received 🙂 Illuminos have done wonders with the editing, and have helped us achieve a film that brings the Matlock Bath Pavilion to life. Fingers crossed this weekend is successful and the team working on the restoration of the Pavilion are rewarded with more support for this huge undertaking.
Apart from the film being shown we also had a hectic Thursday auditioning dancers for Coffee Shop Culture. We have chosen three fantastic dancers who we can see will fit in well with the rest of the team (they will soon learn that laughter is more commonly found in our studio than pointed toes!!)
We are very excited to have them on board, look out for their profiles on our new website which is to be launched within the next couple of weeks.
Michael and I are also in the process of creating a site specific duet…it involves a battered suitcase, with a mysterious object inside… That is all I’m going to reveal for now!
So a busy start to June but we are excited to get the summer rolling!
All for now,
Alice 🙂
